VICAS provides accreditation services to all local and overseas certification bodies which carry out the certification service for: • Quality Management System • Environment Management System. • Food Safety Management System. • Product Certification • Other Management Systems as required. Accreditation Criteria • ISO /IEC Guide 62:1996 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Assessment and Certification / Registration of Quality Systems. • ISO /IEC Guide 65:1996 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems. • Guidance of International Accreditation Forum, Inc (IAF) for above standards. • VICAS documents.
• To provide confidence fo customer and concerning parties in the quality and objectivity of certification bodies. • To facilitate Vietnam integration process through mutual recognition agreement between nations to certification activities. • To strengthen the unity in the operation of the certification activities in Vietnam and support future management systems to be developed.
• The Certification body, who intent to accredit, downloads the application form in BoA Website and fill in.
• On receipt of an application for accreditation (application form, appendix, questionnaire), the sale manager will contact to the certification body and make the necessary arrangement for the preliminary and initial assessment
• The assesment team include: 1 quality assessor and technical assessor(s) (the number of technical assesor depend on the certification’field of accreditation). The technical assessor is contract assessor, who has experiences, knowledge in the certification field.
• It is accredited when the certification comply with all requirements
• Upon approval, BoA will grant a certificate of accreditation
